Enchanted August by Brenda Bowen

Here we are nearing the end of summer and it seems I haven’t posted here since the start of summer. 11 posts behind! But I am virtuously up-to-date at all times on Goodreads, so I’ve got that going for me. Which is nice.

augustThis was a great book to start the summer with, especially for those of that don’t vacation on islands in Maine, but like to dream of it. Four unrelated people go in on a cottage (one of those cottages that is actually a big house) on an island in Maine. To add to the fantasy of it no one ever sees the owner and he just tacks up a sign where he feels the right person in need will find it each year. And indeed it is a summer that works magic on the visitors as friendships develop, romances kindle, and fun is had.

Sunny and fun.
