One of my all time favorite books is Alamo House, by Sarah Bird (in fact, you’ll see it pictured up above on the Bookshelf.) I’ve read her other things too and really enjoyed them, especially The Yokota Officers Club and The Boyfriend School, and think that she is an author who is too overlooked. Her newest book was an absolute delight for me to read because it was so very similar to Alamo House: a dumpy old boarding house for misfits at the University, Texas sorority girls (but now all grown up and marrying money), and lots of hilarious situations.
